The superb, snapdragon-like 'Licilia collection' from the Licilia Series hits the spot as versatile bedding or container plants to enchant and energise your summer displays. As cut flowers, their lovely long stems are a dream to work with. Quick to establish and reach their flowering potential, these delicate wine-red and mid-purple beauties have very simple and elegant forms and are highly attractive to pollinating insects.
How to care for Linaria maroccana Licilia collection:
Sow seeds shallowly in pots filled with a good seed compost in early spring and keep in a cold frame until they germinate. Pot on when they are large enough to handle and gradually harden off before planting them out at 30cm intervals, taking care not to damage their roots. Leave a few of the faded flower spikes on the plants as this will encourage them to self-seed.
