Spires of cerise flowers with white hoods are produced in late spring. This perennial lupin has a delicious peppery scent and is perfect for the middle of the border. It looks particularly lovely with flame coloured plants, such as Iris 'Garnet Robe'. Remember to deadhead after flowering and protect against frost damage by covering the crown of the plant.
How to care for Lupinus Rachel de Thame ('Wclradeth') (PBR):
Stake with bamboo canes in spring before the flowers appear and deadhead the faded blooms to encourage a second flush of flowers. Protect young plants from slug and snail attack.
