Rhododendron 'Glowing Embers'

deciduous azalea

Product Image
The orange-red buds of this deciduous azalea form in clusters in spring, and as they open, golden orange petals unfurl to form gently ruffled trumpets. These look gorgeous, particularly when seen with the newly emerging foliage, which often has a reddish bronze flush. Together they produce a vibrant, fiery effect, which is really eyecatching - particularly when underplanted with red, orange or yellow spring flowering bulbs.
