Solidago 'Goldkind'

golden rod syn. golden baby

Product Image
Mid green, lance-shaped narrow leaves, lightly toothed on the edges, bring forth terminal clusters of tiny, long-lasting, golden yellow flowers spreading horizontally like miniature autumn larches. Suiting a variety of garden types, Solidago ‘Goldkind’ is a popular, compact choice for city gardens, and informal ‘prairie’ planting schemes.

How to care for Solidago Goldkind:

Plant golden rod in a sunny spot with well-drained soil; it will thrive even in poor soils with only modest care. Once established, it generally needs no extra watering or feeding to perform reliably each year.

To rejuvenate clumps and improve flowering, lift, divide, and replant in spring, spacing the divisions to allow good airflow and encourage vigorous growth.
