Antique patina hurricane lantern
These iron hurricane lanterns are indoor statement pieces with real presence. Their tall, elegant proportions and aged patina are ideal for adding texture and interest to a living space. A single lantern makes a striking focal point, or you could pair two sizes for even more impact in a larger room.
Each one is handcrafted in the traditional way, with the panels made from recycled glass. After washing, the glass is crushed and melted before being mouth blown into a mould, framed in metal and fitted into the lantern base and top.
To keep the lantern looking its best, wipe it regularly with a soft dry microfibre cloth. Melted candle wax can be removed using warm water and a mild dish soap. Dry immediately and do not soak.
Warning: position the candle carefully, ensuring the flame is not directed at the glass. The lantern will get hot in use; keep out of reach of children and wait until fully cooled before handling. Never leave a lit candle unattended.
