Young plants always appreciate a little protection early in the season, and this long cloche is a useful way to create the sheltered conditions they thrive in. It’ll protect seedlings, salad crops and tender plants from frost, cold winds and pests, while creating a slightly warmer environment for steady growth.

Made of heavy steel and glass with a dark auburn powder coat, it has a lovely weathered look that’ll settle easily into productive gardens.

The finish brings a little depth to the garden and works well in a range of settings. Its rich, earthy tones sit nicely among planting and natural materials, looking just as comfortable in a contemporary courtyard as it does against old brick, stone and established borders.

The colour shifts subtly with the changing light and the brass handle adds a lovely finishing touch that will age and tarnish naturally with time.

For watering and ventilation, the lid can be easily removed or rotated, and it arrives fully assembled so you u can put it straight outside. Especially handy during those faltering, stop-start weeks of early spring (and the first cooler nights of autumn) when plants need a little extra shelter.

Please note: handle with care and site away from areas where it may be knocked.
