Upright and free flowering, it produces extra-large creamy white flowers gently washed with pink, each petal marked with a pale yellow throat and fine dark flecks that add detail and depth up close. Neat, leafy stems rise from a compact clump, making it well suited to patio pots, terraces and balcony gardens as well as sunny borders. Alstroemeria Times Valley is also excellent for cutting, with strong stems and impressive vase life, so you can enjoy those creamy pink blooms indoors too.

How to care for Alstroemeria Times Valley ('Tessvaltime') (Summer Paradise - Valley Series):
Plant in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in a sunny or lightly shaded position, ideally sheltered from strong winds. If planting into large containers, use a general-purpose potting compost. Water regularly during the growing season, especially in dry spells, but avoid waterlogging.
Newly planted Alstroemerias should be given a very generous 20cm (8in) deep mulch of chipped bark in their first winter to help the plants become established. In subsequent autumns, provide a dry mulch of bracken or bark chippings to help protect the crowns.
After flowering, cut back the faded flower-stems, but make sure you always wear gloves when working with Peruvian lilies, as contact with the foliage may cause skin irritation.
