Vibrant purple-pink flowers form in bobble-like clusters on top of the upright stems in summer. These seem to hover above the clumps of rich green foliage, and as they fade, papery seedheads follow on. A tough and undemanding sun-lover, it will become drought tolerant once established and will flourish in a seaside location.
