This relatively hardy, low-maintenance shrub spreads outward from a clump-forming base, and with its bold colours and tropical look, 'Pink Passion' makes a dramatic year-round statement in gardens, containers, and patios. It thrives in challenging coastal conditions, though does need some protection from cold, drying winds, but its short, mounding habit creates a fantastic, eye-catching focal point throughout the year.
How to care for Cordyline Pink Passion ('Seipin') (PBR):
Choose a sunny, warm spot, sheltered from strong, cold winds. No pruning required. Old, dead leaves can be pulled away from the base. In spring when new growth appears and all danger of hard frosts has passed, cut back frost-damaged branches to just above the newly formed shoots.
