Coreopsis 'Ladybird'

tickseed

Product Image
Flowering continuously and profusely, the scarlet petals are tipped with yellow around a brick-red eye and bright golden stamens, smothering the fine, disease-resistant, thread-like foliage. Great for a real swarm of colour at the front of borders, or lining a path, ‘Ladybird’ just keeps on giving - as a compact and colourful perennial, or an excellent cut flower. Blooming marvellous!

How to care for Coreopsis Ladybird:

Protect from frost with horticultural fleece and a thick organic mulch to protect the roots. Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering and water well during hot, dry spells. Cut the faded flower-stems back down to ground level in autumn and compost.
