This tall impressive delphinium certainly makes a statement - 'look at me I am beautiful'!! It grows to a height of 1.8m (6ft) and displays spectacular ultramarine florets with deep dark eyes. It is certainly a very showy plant and compliments perfectly the paler blues or whites which may grow nearby.
How to care for Delphinium Faust:
Stake with bamboo canes in mid-spring. During the growing season apply a balanced liquid fertiliser every 2-3 weeks and wearing gloves cut back the faded flower stems to a flowering sideshoot. At the end of autumn cut back and compost the faded flower-stems
