Dianthus Peach Party ('Kledg18305')

garden pinks / dianthus

Product Image
Only recently introduced, but already turning heads, this compact dianthus can produce an abundance of scented flowers over a really long time - and these are usually followed up by a second flush! The flowers themselves are a soft apricot pink in the spring, but as the summer progresses they develop a darker red eye which offers a beautiful contrast. Delivered in flower they are perfect for instant colour in alpine beds and pots where they will add lashings of colour. After the display has finished you can plant dianthus out into a sunny border where they will go on to flower the following year.

How to care for Dianthus Peach Party ('Kledg18305'):

Prefers soil enriched with well-rotted manure or garden compost and an application of a balanced fertiliser in spring. Dianthus should be trimmed back lightly after flowering to promote new growth at the base of the plant. Prune more closely in spring, as new shoots emerge to maintain a tidy shape.
