Deep red blooms with slightly reflexed petals and an orange-brown central cone, 'SunSeekers Red' has a long-flowering season providing plenty of nectar for butterflies and bees from mid to late summer. An upright, clump-forming, herbaceous perennial with narrowly ovate to lance-shaped, rarely toothed, rough-hairy, dark green leaves.

How to care for Echinacea SunSeekers Red ('Apecssired') (SunSeekers Series):

Lift and divide congested colonies in autumn or spring. In autumn cut back all dead flower stems to the ground. Coneflowers benefit from a spring or autumn mulch with well-rotted compost.
