Bring a warm glow to borders and containers with the finely divided foliage of Heuchera 'Fyre Wing Amber', forming a dense, rounded mound of deeply cut, lace-like leaves, not unlike a herbaceous form of a Japanese maple in full autumn leaf.
Its colouring shifts naturally through the seasons, opening in rich amber before developing copper and burnished copper-umber tones as the year progresses. Slender, upright stems rise above the foliage in summer, carrying delicate sprays of tiny white flowers for a light, airy contrast.
This distinctive perennial makes an excellent choice for mixed containers, front-of-border planting or adding year-round texture to colourful planting schemes.

How to care for Heuchera Fyre Wing™ Amber:
Plant 30-45cm (12-18in) apart in moderately fertile, moist, but well-drained soil, incorporating compost to improve drainage and fertility. Keep well watered and remove tatty foliage in autumn.
Lift and divide clumps every couple of years in early autumn and re-plant with the crown just above the surface of the soil. Apply a generous 5-7cm (2-3in) mulch of well-rotted organic matter around the base of the plant in spring.
