'Appen-etz' is a compact, spreading, evergreen perennial with lance-shaped dark green leaves. Excellent for edging a sunny path or border, or for spilling over a stone wall, the plants will become drought tolerant once established, while the upright stems bear dense, flattened heads of fragrant, white flowers from late spring into summer, popular with butterflies and other pollinating insects.
