'Banana Cream' is a hard-working, low-maintenance perennial that produces lashings of large (up to 10cm across), summer flowers, which slowly fade from soft lemon-yellow to creamy white as they mature. Offering several months of colour to borders and pots, they can also last for up to 2 weeks when cut for the vase.
How to care for Leucanthemum × superbum Banana Cream:
When planting, incorporate some well-rotted garden compost into the planting hole. Regular deadheading will encourage even more flowers to form, and the flowered stems should be cut back to ground level in autumn. Once established, congested clumps can be divided in early spring or late summer.
