A beautiful white-flowered cultivated form of our native Ragged Robin with star-shaped flowers from early summer to early autumn. 'White Robin' is easy to grow and responds well to being cut hard back to encourage a second flush of flowers later in the year. Good for informal flower borders or beds, it combines well with other late flowering perennials such as Achillea and Perovskia, as well as being well-suited to meadows or wild gardens with reliably damp soil.
How to care for Lychnis flos-cuculi White Robin:
Apply a generous 5-7cm (2-3in) mulch of well-rotted compost around the base of the plant in early-spring. Cut back the faded flowerheads in late summer and autumn.
