Originating from marshy regions throughout the Himalayas, this low-growing perennial spreads to form a creeping green carpet. Perfect for filling gaps between paving slabs or greening up the outer edges of a pond. The purple-blue flowers that appear in late spring and early summer add to the appeal.
How to care for Mazus reptans:
Prefers consistent soil moisture but not fully submerged for long periods so best sited 5-10cm above the waterline of any pond to cater for any seasonal water level changes. Protect from slugs and snails and divide over-large clumps in spring.
