Narcissus 'Rainbow of Colors'

Split-corona daffodil bulbs ( syn. Rainbow of Colours )

Product Image
If you are looking for something a little different, then this might be just the ticket. Unlike the vast majority of the other daffodils, its 'cup' is split and lies almost flattenened against the outer petals (perianth). What’s even more interesting about this one is the way it changes colour as the flower ages, so initially the inner petals (corona) are a yellow-orange, but they gradually turn pinkish apricot as they mature.

How to care for Narcissus Rainbow of Colors:

Wearing gloves plant bulbs 10-15cm deep and 10cm apart in autumn. After flowering feed with a balanced fertiliser, deadhead the flowers, but do not be tempted to cut back or tidy the foliage after flowering as this will interfere with the bulbs’ ability to store energy for the following year's flowers.
