Rhodanthemum 'Marrakech' (Atlas Daisy Series) (PBR)

Atlas or Moroccan daisy (syn. Marrakesh)

Product Image
Flowering profusely in late spring and early summer, and then intermittently until early autumn, Rhodanthemum ‘Marrakech’ has pale pink, daisy-like blooms, with dark pink margins emerging from neat cushions of finely dissected, silvery-green foliage. Rich in nectar, the flowers are popular with pollinating insects. This evergreen perennial is perfect for rock gardens, raised beds and courtyards.

Moroccan daisy forms a compact, drought-tolerant mound that thrives in full sun and sharply drained soil, making it well suited to gravelly or coastal-style planting schemes. Regular deadheading will help prolong the flowering period and maintain a neat shape. Protect from excessive wet, winter ground or compost conditions, as it dislikes heavy, waterlogged soils.

How to care for Rhodanthemum Marrakech (Atlas Daisy Series) (PBR):

Rhodanthemum grows best in full sun with light, free-draining soil, so choose a warm, open spot or pot up using a compost that freely drains. After establishment, keep watering modest as it prefers drier conditions.

No regular pruning is needed, but remove any dead or diseased stems after flowering, and pinch off faded blooms to encourage more flowers and extend the season.
