The foliage of this colourful evergreen emerges each spring in a hot pink flush, but as the leaves ripen the pink diminishes and the grey and cream variegations become more apparent - while sometimes retaining a pink flush. This bushy shrub is primarily grown for its colourful foliage, however an added bonus is the small spikes of lilac-purple flowers, which start to emerge in midsummer.
How to care for Veronica Burning Heart:
Needs minimal pruning. Remove misplaced or frost damaged branches in late spring. Protect from severe winter weather.
