How to care for Winter hardy herb collection (4 mixed herbs):

Plant in a sunny position in freely draining neutral to alkaline soil. Although tolerant of drought once established, they should be kept well watered for the first year or so. After flowering, cut back vigorous varieties to retain a neat compact shape.

What's included:

This culinary collection will contain one of the following, each in a 9cm nursery pot:

  • Salvia officinalis (green sage): Aromatic leaves are valuable for flavouring stuffings, herbal teas and savoury dishes. Grows to 1m.

  • Mentha spicata (garden mint): Bright green leaves which are ideal for making mint sauce or adding to salads and summer drinks. Grows to 1m.

  • Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary): The narrow aromatic leaves are ideal for flavouring roasted vegetables and and culinary dishes. Pick the young succulent leaves regularly to ensure a a plentiful supply. Grows to 1.5m.

  • Thymus 'Silver Posie' (thyme): The aromatic leaves are useful for making bouquet garni, stuffings and sauces. Grows to 30cm.
