Root trainers provide the perfect start for seeds, seedlings, plugs and cuttings, especially those plants that need deep root runs or are sensitive to root disturbance.
They encourage formation of a strong, straight main root which give plants a better start when transplanted. The grooved sides encourage additional roots to grow out sideways rather than forming a dense root ball, helping to avoid pot-bound plants.
Each 32-cell pack contains 32 x 12cm deep cells along with a clear plastic propagator lid and instructions for use. When it's time to plant out your seedlings, the cells open for satisfyingly easy removal and damage-free roots.
Ideal for sweet peas, all perennial flowers and deep-rooted vegetables and fruit, such as runner beans and strawberries. Suitable for reuse season after season.
