The slimline blade is just the same as the original, but the ergonomic ash grip is slightly longer. It’s a subtle difference but it makes the trowel more comfortable to use when kneeling. That little bit of extra height means you don’t need to bend over so much, so it’s kinder to your back. If you prefer to sit rather than kneel, the original shorter handled tool is probably best.
All the advantages of the original trowel have been kept, from the top quality carbon steel and polished FSC ash to the heavy-duty forged connection between blade and grip.
