This slender DeWit trowel has a razor-sharp straight edge on one side of the blade and a serrated edge on the other. It combines the benefits of a hori hori and a trowel, so it’s great for cutting jobs as well as digging, weeding and scooping. It’ll slice through roots and dead perennials in a swoop and makes life much easier when working in heavy soils.
DeWit’s trademark ‘Welldone’ tang (neck), laser cut from 4mm thick sheet steel, makes it super strong, especially for sideways movements. It’s virtually impossible to bend through normal use. The flat shape also stops the blade from twisting in the handle due to natural wear and tear.
A really robust hardworking trowel, ideal for professionals and prolific hobby gardeners.

About DeWit tools
The Dutch are renowned for making the world’s finest garden tools, and DeWit is the most respected name of all. Founded in 1898, the family-owned toolmaker combines old-fashioned quality and craftsmanship with innovative design to create superior tools that last a lifetime.
Every tool is hand-forged in the Netherlands from tough boron steel - shaped, sharpened and burnished for durability, giving it the same blackened patina as traditional Edwardian tools. Each is fitted with a responsibly sourced solid ash handle for ultimate strength and shock resistance, oiled to provide first-class protection against the elements.
All DeWit tools come with a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects, making them a truly once in a lifetime purchase.
