RocketGro farmyard manure
Well-rotted, nutrient-packed and microbe-rich manure, produced on a neighbouring farm to RocketGro’s Somerset farm. Feeds and invigorates the soil, slowly releasing nutrients that will become available for your plants. Excellent for organic veg plots, allotments, shrubs, trees and rose beds and an ideal topical soil improver, either dug in or spread over the surface for worms to take down.
How to use:
Spread a 3-4cm thick layer over the soil’s surface. Using a fork, work into the top 15-20cm of the soil. When dug into heavy clay soils it will create a much more open structure and improve drainage. For sandy soils it will improve soil structure. For no dig beds, simply spread the manure evenly over the soil and leave it. Keep away from ericaceous plants.
