This brilliant little self-contained grey ripple ball is perfect for a garden tabletop. It charges in sunlight to power the pump and produces a lovely gentle trickle of water from the top.
On a full charge it’ll operate for 4-6 hours, day and night. After dark, four warm white LEDs built into the solar panel give it a bit of extra magic.
Please bear in mind that solar water features are intended for use in the spring and summer, when sunlight is at its strongest.
Taking care of your water feature
Keep water topped up in the warmer months, but fully drain in the winter months. Adding a couple of capfuls of water treatment every few weeks will help prevent algae build up.
Clean regularly with a soft cloth and soapy water. Limescale on the solar panel can be removed with lemon juice. If you live in a hard water area, we would suggest filling the feature with collected rainwater or previously boiled water.
