Inspired by Victorian garden cloches, this square lantern cloche helps protect young plants and seedlings from frost, cold winds and pests. Really useful in early spring and through the cooler autumn months.

Made of sturdy gauge sheet steel and solid glass, powder coated in a rich dark chestnut, it’s a good heavy weight and settles nicely into kitchen gardens, raised beds and flower borders. The lid can be removed or rotated as needed for watering and ventilation.

The finish brings a little depth to the garden and works well in a range of settings. Its rich, earthy tones sit nicely among planting and natural materials, looking just as comfortable in a contemporary courtyard as it does against old brick, stone and established borders.

The colour shifts subtly with the changing light and the brass handle adds a lovely finishing touch that will age and tarnish naturally with time.

It arrives fully assembled so you can place it straight into position. A really practical piece to have on hand for unpredictable weather and protecting and hardening off tender plants.
