Vitax perlite

New
Product Image
20 litre bag of natural perlite, useful for creating a light, well-draining medium for plants, seeds and cuttings. Added into potting mixes, it creates little air pockets so roots receive plenty of oxygen and excess water drains freely. It can also be used as a surface covering for seeds that need light to germinate.

Please note: dampen before use to reduce dust. If using the whole bag, add about a litre of water and allow to soak for a few minutes.

Key features:

  • Mix into compost or use as a seed covering
  • Improves drainage and aeration for healthy root development
  • Ideal for potting up cacti and succulents
