Walk in fruit cage starter kit
This large walk-in fruit cage is constructed using 8ft tubes as verticals, giving a full head height of around 6ft 6in once assembled. Perfect for protecting fruit trees at the allotment.
Strong 18mm square black netting surrounds the cage to offer robust protection, while the roof has lighter weight green knitted netting.
This complete kit includes everything you need to build the cage: aluminium tubes, UV-stabilised polypropylene moulded plastic connectors, netting and ground pegs. Also includes a hinged doorway for easy access to your crop.
Please note: due to the large surface area of the netting, large cages may be vulnerable to strong winds and should not be located in exposed areas. Additionally, if snow is forecast, roof nets should be removed to prevent damage to the frame.
