These cottage garden favourites produce sprays of fragrant, funnel-shaped flowers at the ends of the arching, branched stems in summer. They're relatively long-lasting when cut for the vase, and they look superb when planted at the front of a sunny, shelter border, or crammed into patio pots. It's fair to say tht as they are not as hardy as many of the other bulbs, and they can be a bit tricky to grow - but they're well worth the effort!
