Freesia double-flowering mixed

double freesia bulbs

Product Image
These cottage garden favourites produce sprays of fragrant, funnel-shaped flowers at the ends of the arching, branched stems in summer. They're relatively long-lasting when cut for the vase, and they look superb when planted at the front of a sunny, shelter border, or crammed into patio pots. It's fair to say tht as they are not as hardy as many of the other bulbs, and they can be a bit tricky to grow - but they're well worth the effort!

How to care for Freesia double flowering mixed:

Plant 8cm (3in) deep in soil in full sun. After flower buds appear, water regularly and feed with a liquid fertiliser every week. After flowering, reduce the watering until the corms are dry, then store in a frost-free place until planting for next year.
