An abundance of semi-double, saucer-shaped, vibrant purple flowers with blue-black stamens appear throughout the summer above the mounds of drought-tolerant, deep bronze/purple foliage that lightens to dark green. Equally happy in large patio displays, the upright ‘Stormcloud’ will brood nicely when underplanting taller roses, or combined with other strong growers towards the back of the border.
