A towering, giant lily, ‘Pretty Woman’ delivers pure white blooms with apple-green throats, and a soft, sweet fragrance. The stems will get taller each year as these hardy lily bulbs return in spring to put on an impressive display of summer flowers. Set out in sunny borders or grown against a sheltered wall or fence, this fully hardy hybrid will become bushy, and shrub-like in appearance over each successive summer.
How to care for Lilium Pretty Woman:
Plant in a well-drained soil, enriched with well-rotted organic matter or leaf mould, using a marker to minimise any unnecessary disturbance. Stake with ring stakes or bamboo canes in spring before the flowers appear. Deadhead the faded blooms and cut the stems back to ground level at the end of autumn.
