Narcissus 'Ice King'

Double daffodils offer something a little more unusual with their pompom-like flowers. Narcissus 'Ice King' has big flowers (up to 10cm or 4in across) so it is very showy, and it has a lovely soft colouring - with an outer band of creamy lemon, surrounding a frilly darker yellow centre, which pales to ivory-white as the flowers age. It's impressive in the border and the vase.
How to care for Narcissus Ice King:
Wearing gloves plant bulbs 10-15cm (4-6in) deep and 10cm (4in) apart in autumn. After flowering feed with a balanced fertiliser, deadhead the flowers, but do not be tempted to cut back or tidy the foliage after flowering as this will interfere with the bulbs’ ability to store energy for the following year's flowers.
