Forming a low spreading mound of rich green foliage, which in summer, is topped with short spikes of white saucer-like flowers, each with an irregular purple ring around their eye. A handsome ground-covering plant for the front of the border, it will also do well if potted up for the patio. - Garden care: Needs minimal pruning. Remove misplaced or frost damaged branches in late spring. Protect from severe winter weather.
