Sansevieria cylindrica is an elegant, low maintenance houseplant with smooth, leathery, spear-like foliage. As its name suggests, ‘Straight’ is distinctly upright in habit and the minimalist, striking grey-green variegation adds to its appeal as a tough, air purifying plant for any stylish, contemporary home or office. Please be aware however that it is quite common for the plants to have small nicks or scars on their leaves. How to care for Sansevieria cylindrica Straight:
Place Sansevieria in a bright room with indirect light, though it will also tolerate lower-light spaces, making it easy to position around the home. Keep it warm (though away from direct heat sources such as radiators) and away from cold draughts, and use a free-draining houseplant compost. Check that any pot cover you are using is not allowing the nursery pot inside to sit in water.
Allow the soil to dry out completely before watering, then water thoroughly and let the excess drain away; never leave it standing in water as this causes root rot.
