This is a nantese carrot from Chioggia, near Venice. It produces heartless, tender and crunchy carrots that are rich in Vitamin C. It is a very good, tasty carrot that is quite easy and reliable to grow.
Growing instructions:
Sow outside - March to July when the air temperature is above 5°C
Sow - Thinly direct into soil in lines 1cm deep.
Thin plants to 5-10cm apart May to August. If sown thinly in the first place, you can usually avoid the need for thinning.
