This sharp, solid garden knife is DeWit’s take on the classic Japanese Hori-Hori. A great versatile tool for striking into soil to cut roots, transplant, lift weeds, split perennials and cut asparagus, as well as other garden/allotment cutting jobs like trimming twine, pruning, splitting compost sacks, etc.
Made from hard high-carbon steel sharpened on both sides, the blade is designed to resist bending and retain its cutting edge over time. It can be easily sharpened when needed with a file or wet stone.
Finished with an ergonomic solid oval ash handgrip for comfort. We do advise wearing a robust pair of work gloves to protect hands when using this tool.
