This olive green full apron is made from tough polyester Oxford fabric with a softer, cotton-like feel, so it’s hardwearing without being stiff. A water and dirt-resistant finish helps keep you clean and dry, and there’s reinforced stitching and metal rivets to strengthen the areas that take the most strain.

Seven well-placed pockets give you storage space for tools, keys and bulkier bits and pieces. There’s also a metal loop so you can attach a twine pouch or another accessory.

The shape is borrowed from a traditional potter’s apron, with a split front that gives you room to walk, kneel and sit comfortably. Adjustable buckles at the neck and waist are easier to manage than ties, and you can undo the neck strap to take the apron off without emptying all those pockets first.
