Table top growhouse

Our tabletop growhouse can be used to create a growing environment anywhere you have the space. Ideal for sitting on a kitchen table or a work bench in the shed to propagate tomatoes, chillies or other seedlings and cuttings.

The door opens at the front like a drawbridge, with chains to hold it open. The top also opens upwards and backwards for slightly less ventilation. In the base, there are two galvanised trays which will collect any soil or water spillages and can be removed for cleaning.

Made from toughened glass and steel with a mottled grey and white eggshell finish.

Care and maintenance

Always place on a flat, level surface. Handle glass panes with care and site well away from areas it may be knocked.

To protect the steel from rust or staining, clean it regularly with mild soap and a sponge or soft cloth to remove bird droppings, sap and dirt. If any scratches or chips occur, immediately seal them with touch-up paint to prevent water from reaching the bare metal (make sure the surface is clean and free from grease and dust before applying).

Any patches that show signs of rusting can be buffed back with steel wool or a wire brush and coated with a suitable sealant.
