This British-bred daffodil was named to celebrate the diamond anniversary of Marie Curie Cancer Care. A jonquilla type, the bright yellow flowers will add warmth and colour to the spring garden, coming back year after year. A recipient of an Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society, it's reliable, hard-working and adaptable.
How to care for Narcissus Marie Curie Diamond:
Wearing gloves plant bulbs 10-15cm (4-6in) deep and 10cm (4in) apart in autumn. After flowering feed with a balanced fertiliser, deadhead the flowers, but do not be tempted to cut back or tidy the foliage after flowering as this will interfere with the bulbs’ ability to store energy for the following year's flowers.
