- Rate of growth: average
- Flowering period: May
- Hardiness: fully hardy
Sorbus vilmorinii just got better. ‘Pink Charm’ has large, vibrant pink berries that last really well during the autumn months. This wonderful tree has a light canopy with long, fern-like green leaves so it will not dominate the space but will offer gentle shade during the hottest months of the year. - Garden care: Plant out as soon as possible after delivery and keep well watered until established. When planting, incorporate lots of well-rotted garden compost in the planting hole and stake firmly. Requires minimal pruning, but broken, diseased or crossing branches can be removed in late autumn or winter.
- Humans/Pets: Fruit are ornamental - not to be eaten
