Some gardening essentials are made to stay with you for years, and this handmade half apron is one of those. Made from hardwearing buffalo leather, it’ll soften with use, deepen in colour and pick up more character as the years go by. The leather is left with its natural grain, creases and markings – all part of the beauty of the material.

Slip secateurs into one pocket, twine into another and there’s still plenty of room for plant labels, gloves and all the other bits you need. It’s secured with a buckle, and is adjustable for all sizes. A coating of natural oil keeps it water resistant and gives it a rich finish. Supplied in a cotton dust bag to protect it when not in use.
